Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
Slipstream Invoices (“the app”) is developed and published by an independent developer based in Australia (“I”, “me”, “we”). You can reach us at support-slipstream@jorrel.dev.
2. What data the app stores — and where
All of the information you enter into the app is stored only on your device, in the app’s private document storage. This includes:
- Business profile — business name, tax ID, payment/bank details, logo, tax and currency settings
- Customers — names, addresses, emails and other client details you enter or import
- Item catalog — your products, services and rates
- Documents — invoices and quotes you create, including drafts
- App settings — numbering preferences, templates and regional options
We do not have a server. We cannot see, access, or recover this data.
3. Data we do not collect
- No accounts or sign-ups
- No analytics or usage statistics
- No advertising or third-party trackers
- No crash-reporting services
- This website is static: it sets no cookies and runs no analytics
4. Device permissions — what they’re for
The app asks for the following permissions, and only for these purposes:
- Contacts — so you can import a client’s billing details instead of typing them. The app uses your device’s contact picker: it only ever reads the single contact you select, never your whole address book, and what you pick is stored locally.
- Photo Library — so you can choose a business logo image for your documents. The selected image is stored locally.
- Files — used when you choose to export a backup or CSV, or restore a backup file you previously saved.
You can use the app without granting these permissions; the related features just won’t be available. You can change them any time in your device’s Settings.
5. When data leaves your device
Your data only leaves your device when you choose to send it:
- Sending documents — when you email or share an invoice or quote PDF, it travels through your own email account or chosen app to the recipient you pick. We are not a party to that transmission.
- Exports and backups — CSV exports and JSON backup files go wherever you save or send them (for example iCloud Drive, Files, or AirDrop), under your control.
6. App stores and backups
- Purchases are processed by the store you download the app from (Apple App Store or Google Play) under that store’s terms. We do not receive your payment details. The store’s privacy policy applies to the transaction: Apple · Google.
- Device backups — if you use a device backup service (iCloud, Google backup, or a computer backup), the app’s data may be included in it under that provider’s policies and your own settings.
7. Data retention and deletion
Your data stays on your device until you delete it. Removing individual documents deletes them inside the app; deleting the app removes all of its local data (any backups or exports you saved elsewhere remain under your control).
8. Security
Because the app stores everything locally, your data is protected by your device’s own security: the OS sandbox, device passcode/biometrics and hardware encryption. Keep your device updated and locked to protect it.
9. Children
The app is a business tool and is not directed at children. Since no data is collected, no personal information from children is gathered either.
10. Your rights
Under the Australian Privacy Act, the GDPR/UK GDPR, the CCPA and similar laws, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Because all of your data lives on your own device and is never sent to us, you can exercise all of these rights yourself directly in the app — view, edit, export (CSV or JSON backup), and delete. If you email us for support, we’ll use your message only to respond and will delete it on request.
11. Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new “last updated” date. Any change that matters will also be noted in the app’s release notes.
