Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 25 October 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Slipstream Invoices (“the app”), developed and published by an independent developer based in Australia (“we”, “us”). By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the app.
2. What the app does
Slipstream Invoices lets you create, manage and send invoices and quotes as PDF documents from your device. It stores your business profile, customers, items and documents locally on your device. It does not provide accounting, bookkeeping, tax calculation advice, or payment processing.
3. Not professional advice
The app is a document-generation tool. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of the invoices and quotes you produce and for meeting the legal and tax requirements that apply to your business (for example invoice-content rules, tax registration numbers and record-keeping obligations in your jurisdiction). Nothing in the app constitutes tax, accounting or legal advice.
4. Licence and purchase
- The app is sold through the Apple App Store and Google Play for a one-time purchase price. We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use it on devices you own or control, as permitted by the store’s usage rules.
- Your purchase, download and any refund request are governed by the store’s terms. Refunds are handled by the store — Apple via reportaproblem.apple.com, Google Play via its refund process; we cannot issue refunds directly.
- The store’s standard terms apply to your use of the app — Apple’s Standard EULA for App Store purchases, the Google Play Terms of Service for Play purchases. Where those terms and these Terms overlap, the store’s terms control as required.
5. Your data is your responsibility
- All app data is stored on your device only. We do not hold a copy and cannot recover data for you.
- You are responsible for your own backups. Use the in-app backup feature (Settings → Data → Backup) and keep copies somewhere safe, and/or maintain iOS device backups. Deleting the app or losing your device without a backup means your data is gone, and we cannot restore it.
- Documents you create are yours. You are responsible for their content and for the data you store about your own customers.
6. Acceptable use
You agree to use the app lawfully — including not using it to produce fraudulent documents, to misrepresent your business, or to infringe the rights of others.
7. Intellectual property
The app, its branding, name and design are our property (or licensed to us). These Terms don’t transfer any ownership to you. Your business information, documents and customer data remain yours.
8. Disclaimer of warranties
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We don’t warrant that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that documents it produces will satisfy the specific invoice requirements of every jurisdiction.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss — including lost data, lost profits or business interruption — arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Australian Consumer Law: where you acquire the app as a consumer, nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law or any other law that cannot be excluded.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be posted at this URL with its “last updated” date. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Termination
Your licence ends automatically if you breach these Terms. You can stop using the app and end these Terms at any time by deleting it (remember: that also deletes your local data).
12. General
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and the courts of Victoria have exclusive jurisdiction, except where your local consumer law gives you other rights.
